Welcoming the Delegation from the Ulsan Port Authority

On May 18, the Port welcomed a delegation headed by Mr. Jaeyoung Byeon, President of the Ulsan Port Authority.
During a one and a half hour boat tour, the two ports provided overviews of their respective ports and decarbonization initiatives, and exchanged opinions on the various challenges facing ports around the world.

Transport Canada Delegation Visits the Port of Nagoya

On March 18, the Port of Nagoya hosted a delegation from Canada headed by Ms. Paula Vieira, Director General of Environmental Policy at Transport Canada.
The delegation visited Japan to promote bilateral dialogue on the decarbonization of the maritime and port sectors.
While in Nagoya, they took a boat tour, received an overview of the Port of Nagoya’s Decarbonization Initiatives and exchanged opinions on how to achieve carbon neutrality.

Former / Current COO of the Port of Everett visit the Port

On January 9, former Chief Operating Officer Mr. Carl Wollebek and Current COO Mr. Tim Ryker of the Port of Everett, USA, visited the Port of Nagoya.
Following Port of Nagoya Executive Vice President Tamakazu Yokochi’s expression of gratitude to Mr. Wollebek for his long-standing dedication, they reaffirmed the importance of further deepening the friendly relations between the Ports of Everett and Nagoya in the future.
